Here is Kira opening here presents

Some of her favorites were the fun dressups,

the pom poms and candy,

Snow Day Fun

It has been so cold and snowy lately that it feels like we have been stuck inside forever. So today we decided to have some fun at the Living Planet Aquarium. Here are some of our fun pictures.
It's Bruce! This is the first fish we saw when we walked in.
Kira was so excited, and so was Kate as she jumped into my arms and said, "SCARY!"
First was the "Utah" fish section. Here are some rainbow trout -
this picture is for you Grandpa Guy.
Kate is looking at the scum and fish from the Great Salt Lake.
Now for the really cool stuff.
Here is Kira next to are some Upside Down Jelly Fish.
These are some neat pictures of the Moon Jelly fish.
The colored lights make them so pretty.
Kira loved the Octopus. Before we left home she packed a bag so that she could go and live with the Octopus, but then she thought it might be too scary!
She is so funny.
The seahorses were my favorite. They were so tiny and cute.

I love this picture of Kate looking up at Nemo and Dory. She was so fascinated by them.

Here we are petting the sting rays. This girls thought this was really fun.

Kate loved just splashing in the water.

Kira really liked the sharks. Especially the Leopard Sharks.

Kate playing peek-a-boo with the fishies.
After the Aquarium we had lunch at Chuck-E-Cheese's. It was lots of fun and the girls had a great time playing on the rides. What a fun family snow day!

Kira's 4!

I can't believe that my baby is 4! Time sure flies. Kira turned 4 on January 2, 2008 and we had so much fun! She had a Barbie Island Princess birthday party and she absolutley loved it. She had Barbie balloons, a banner, plates, cups, etc. and she even got to wear her princess crown, because of course she was the princess for the day - which is just like every day!

Eating pizza with her friends: (Clockwise) Kira, Felicity, Porter, Kate, Shay, and Jaycee. Porter was a good sport being the only boy at an all girl, all pink and purple, all barbie party! What a trooper!

Playing "Bella Dancerella" after lunch.
Opening presents. She was completely spoiled and loved every second of it. Here is the fishing game which was a big hit at the party and is now a family favorite.

Her new Island Princess Barbie. It sings and everything!

Time for birthday cake! It was blue with pink sprinkles, just like Island Barbie's dress.

Kate is helping her blow out the candles.

Eating cake and ice cream with Shay and Jaycee.

Kate is enjoying all the fun.
Here is my princess Kira with her new princess.
Now she insists that we call her Barbie. Go figure!

We're Back!

I know that it's been a while since I've written anything so here is an update.
These are just some random pictures of the girls that I thought were cute.

Here is Kira in the book bed that she built. With her imagination she comes up with the cutest stuff.

These are some puppets that Kira and I made. I drew and she colored. There is a princess penguin, princess elephant and princess piggy.

Here are my little princesses. Seriously, they never take the dressups off! They wear them more than their regular clothes and I can't even get them off to go to the store. I dress them in the morning and 10 minutes later they are princesses. Oh well, at least they're having fun!

"Here's what I'm thinking..."
"NO MORE PICTURES!"
Here is Kate opening some birthday presents from Aunt Pearl and Aunt Conni. Some favorites were the phone, the purse, and especially the shrek paper!
