I don't know about you but we have so many bees and wasps this year. The other day I sprayed 5 wasp nests around our yard alone. Yuck! Anyway, Kira and Kate went to a birthday party at the park and guess what...Kate got stung by a bee on her lip. Yep, that's right, she was drinking some red soda that the bee wanted too and so it went into her cup and stung her right on the lip. They even had to pull the stinger out because it was stuck in her lip, but she was a good little patient and didn't hardly cry at all. Here is her lip all puffy. It was about 3 times the normal size before the swelling finally went down. That bee/wasp is one insect that I could do without.

Oh my gosh! Poor kate! That looks like it hurt! Lilly got stung twice on the bottom of her foot last week when she stepped on a bee. Amazing something so small can cause so much pain!
That is so, so sad. I have never gotten stung, and now my fear of it has been multiplied like 100 times. That poor little sweety. And not much crying? Holy cow. I think I am going to cry FOR her. Serious.
P.S. That quote about growth on your blog is, well, I really needed that. Thanks for sharing. I am printing it out as I type ;)
