Bye-Bye-Boobies!!!

I didn't know if I should blog about this because it is sort of personal...but I am so excited that I just had to tell everyone. I finally got rid of my enourmouse boobs with some very wonderful breast reduction surgery. YEAH!!! I can't believe the weight that has been lifted off of my shoulders, literally. My surgeon took out a whopping five pounds, FIVE POUNDS. Isn't that so amazing...I can stand up straight without hunching over and I actually look proportional in my clothes!!! Sorry, I can't stop with the exclamation points, I'm just so happy. Now I can play volleyball and run around better with my kids. I was really scared at first. I actually can't believe that I went through with it, but there was just no turning back. It's is something that I have wanted for a long long time and it was just time to jump in. The only time I've ever been this happy and sore at the same time was when I had my babies and so if you can imagine that, then maybe you can imagine how great this feels. Well, that's enough of that. Just wanted to share. Goodbye big bra size F and hello to a C that's the new me. Hee Hee!

Valentine's Day Fun

We had such a fun Valentines this year. I love this holiday and thought we'd try some new things this year. In the morning we made sugar cookies (the store bought, already made and cut into shapes kind:)) and the girls decided to wear pullups on their heads just for the fun of it. Then we just played all day and waited for our fun valentines dinner of heart shaped waffles and strawberries. They were so yummy and a surprise visit from some of our friends from Idaho made them even better. Because we had some unexpected, but welcome, visitors last night, we postponed the rest of our valentines until today.

So after church we finished our celebration with some fun chocolate fondue and several rousing rounds of valentines bingo! What fun! I think that these fun new traditions will be showing up again next year.

Here is a copy of the bingo card I made. I used the digital scrapbooking kit called Smitten, from ggdigitaldesigns.com/cart and then I used a template from brookie-wookie.blogspot.com . Then I printed them off as 5x7 photos at Walmart and Voouala! We used red, pink and white m&m's as the bingo pieces and the kids LOVED it. Hope you had a Happy Valentines!

Valentime's Cookies

I love Valenitnes and I also love how the kids call it Valentimes:) Well, I have officially run out of ideas to keep my kids entertained indoors while it is still cold outside so, even though Valentimes is still a week away, we decided to make heart sugar cookies. Usually this favorite tradition ends up with the kids crying because I'm yelling at them for eating all of the dough and getting flour EVERYWHERE, but today I decided not to let it bug me and we had such a fun time! The girls helped me make the dough, they put in the 'dry stuff', and then we all cut out the hearts.

Here is the finished product. Delicious!

Is it spring yet?

I am so in the mood for SPRING!!! That's why there's flowers:)

C.H.E.E.S.E. Spells Disaster

Here is another anecdote to add to my rather long list. So, the very first thing that I am asked to do in our new ward is to bring cheese fondue to the ward enrichment night. A night of many delicious caramel, coconut, chocolate, alfredo and peanut butter fondues with so many yummy treats. So I make my fondue and I am on my way to the ward, driving V E R Y S L O W L Y so as not to spill one drop, when all of a sudden, seemingly out of nowhere, the entire crockpot full of cheesy delight falls over and spills into a cheesy lake all over the floor of Dave's car! Can you believe this! Well, if you know me then "yes you can" because stuff like this happens to me All The Time:). I don't know why. Dave says that I have a talent for it. So here is the 'after' picture of the pot. Can you see the hair and gray spots in it from where I scraped it out of the bottom of the car? So gross. I wish I had a picture of the inside of the car, but the camera ran out of batteries. So there is my story of the day. Laugh all you want, because I am doing the same thing:)
